| 抄録: | The experimental and clinical experiences on a new sulfonamide, Urocydal, have been presented. Ur o cydal is absorbed rapidly and nearly completely and excreted rapidly, being highly soluble in the urine. It has a more favorable antibacterial spectrum and extremely lower degree of acetylation than other sulfonamides. Urocydal was administered to 17 patients of urinary tract infections. An remarkable effect was obtained in cases of Escherichia coli and staphylococcal infection. No untoward reaction was observed in all the cases. It is an effective chemotherapeutic agent in urinary tract infections. |
