男子原発性尿道腫瘍の2例

Abstract

Two cases of primary tumor of the male urethra w ere seen recently in our clinic. The first case of 32 year old man had a papillary tumor located at the externa l urethral orifice and the f ossa navicularis. Extirpation and electrocoagulation were performed in this case. Histological diagnosis of this tumor was a papilloma of the urethra. The second case of 41 year old man complained of occasional urin a ry retention and discharge of tissuelike masses with blood clots from the urethra. Diagnosis of primary tumor of the bulbous urethra was made from the urethrogram, and partial resection of the urethra and Badenoch's pull-through operation were carried out. Histologically it showed transitional cell carcinoma of the urethra. There have been reported 24 cases, including the second case, of primary carcinoma of the male urethra in Japan. The results of treatment for these two cases were quite satisfactory.
