抄録: 1) Total number of the out-patients with tubercul o sis visited the clinic during the past seven years from 1951 through 1957 was 533, among which G-U tuberculosis was decreased by 5% from 15'6 in 1951 to 10% in 1957 and urinary tuberculosis alone was decreased by more than 1096 from 73.4% in 1951 to 61.4% in 1957, while there was more than 10% inrease in genital tuberculosis from 14.4% in 1951 to 27.1% in 1957. 2) Age distribution for the highest incident of both urinary and genital tuberculosis was found in the third decade, in which 142 patients (37%) were the former tuberculosis and 37 patients (36.2%) were the latter tuberculosis. 3) Number of male patients w as 227 (53.4%) and that of female was 200 (46.6%). Left, right and both sides of urinary tuberculosis were 189 (44.1%), 210 (49%) and 30 (61.9%) cases respectively. Left, right and both sides of tuberculosis of the epididymis were 53 (40.2%), 52 (39.4%) and 27 (214%) cases respectively. 4) Bladder syndrom as the m ost frequent early symptom and chief complaint for urinary tuberculosis was found in 59% and 61.8% of total G-U tuberculosis patients respectively, among which pollakisuria was encountered in 30% and 30.2% followed by abnormal findings on urinalysis in 23.7% and 23.4%. That for genital tuberculosis was genital symptom in 95% and 97%, among which swelling of the testicle was found in 64.7% and 71.5%. 5) Tubercle bacilli were found on urinalysis in 152 patients with urinary tuberculosis, while the bacilli were found in only 2 patients with genital tuberclosis. 6) The commonest findings on pyelogram were Latimer's Group III and IV. 7) Pulmonary tuberculosis was the commonest complication encountered. 8) Nephrectomy was employed to 42.5% of total surgical trea t ments for urinary tuberculosis in 1951, which decreased to 11.3% in 1957, while in genital tuberculosis it was increased from 10% in 1951 to 13.8% in 1957.
