| 抄録: | Measurement of concentration of a new sulfon a m ide, Piridazin-Meito (Sulfamethoxypyridazine), in the blood and the results of its clinical application have been reported. 1) Maximum concentrations of 10.6m g/dl and 19.8m g/dl of the drug i n the blood have been reached 6 hours after administrations of 1 gm and 2 gm once a day respectively. The concentrations of the drug in the blood 24 hours after the administration were still 7.5m g/di, 9.8 m g/d1. From these findings it is evident that this drug is long-acting with high concentration in the blood. 2) This drug was ad m inistered in doses of 0.5-1 gm or 1-2 gm a day by mouth to 21 cases of infection of the urinary tract, significant improvements were observed in 16 cases, improvement 3 cases and no change in 2 cases. No side reaction was observed. |
