ウンブラトールの長期遺残例

Abstract

Two cases in which Umbrathol, Thorium containing contrast media, employed for the purpose of spermatocystography, remained in the long duratin and caused some disturbances have been reported. Case #1 32 years old, male Spermatocystograph y was performed by transvasal injection of Umbrathol 2 years ago. Chaplet-like induration was palpable at the site of the spermatic cord and epididymis. The patient complained of dragging pain in the bilateral inguinal region. Bert's carmine staining was performed on the excised tissue and found numerous intra-and extracellular sedimentation of Umbrathol particles and inflammatory granuloma. Case 142 30 years old, male Spermatocystograph y was performed by transvasal injection of Umbrathol 9 years ago. Simple X-Ray picture showed shadow of stone at the site of seminal vesicle.
