Abstract

No clear cystoscopic findings could be taken from a 32-year-old housewife because she was severely affected by haematuria. A postoperative examination of the bladder showed a glossy part in the triangular region. Histologically, the patient displayed some manifestation of incomplete bladder leukoplakia. Cystoscopic findings were not interpreted as indicating the presence of white patches. The authors discussed how difficult it is to differentiate incomplete bladder leijkoplakia from simple cystitis since it may be presumed that the patient ffi4, ght have been treated for simple cystitis if she had visited the out-patient department Without any complaint of severe haematuria.
