Abstract

This is a case report of a 10-years-old boy who d eveloped a •congenital valve in the left side ureter and a calculus formation in the opposite kidney. Nephrectomy was performed on the left side. The nephrectomized kidney with a valve in its ureter had been pyonephrotic and a valve of semilunar shape was found in the upper part of the ureter. The tissue showed the complete finding of a congenital valve histologically. We discussed also about the cases of ureteral valve formation, reported by Momose 1956. After investigating of these three cases, only the first case turned out truly congenital.
