女子尿道憩室の3例

Abstract

Three cases of the urethral diverticulum in fem ale are reported which have been found in our Department in the period of sixteen months. Reports of the female urethral diverticulum h a ve increased recently in Japan as well as in foreign country. However, only thirty-two cases have been reported in Japan. It is supposed from our experience that considerable number of cases may be overlooked due to insufficient consciousness of this disease and inadequate examination. The three cases were revealed by our effort of searching carefully for this disease in examining all female patients with symptoms of the lower urinary tract infection. Age, incidence, symptoms, pathology, diagnosis and therapy of the fe m ale urethral diverticulum with case reports in Japan and discussed.
