抄録: The level of urinary 17-KS, n umber of spermatozoa , motion rate of spermatozoa rate of spermatozoa, rate of malformation, fluctose content, fluctolytic activity, adrenal function, spermatocystography, and histological study of the testicle have been performed before and after single administration of Durotest on 8 cases of male hypogonadism, a case of each adiposogenital dystrophy eunichoidism, bilateral testicular atrophy, sexual impotence, azoospermia, and 3 cases of oligozospermia. Long acting Durotest was extremely e ffective in the bilaterally orchidectomized patients, the patients with bilateral testicular atrophy, or such cases of eunichoidism in which excretion of male hormone from the testicle was completely absent due to irreversible dysfunction of the testicle. It has been experienced that the number of spermatozoa in the semen was transiently decreased after the administration of Durotest in the patients with hormonal unbalance and with male infirtility, especially oligozospermia, but soon after the marked rebounding phenomenon of the spermatozoa and an increase in the spermatozoa were noted, consequently the patient became to have minimal ability of conception. The level of urinary 17-KS was rapidly fallen right after the injection of Durotest, which was followed by marked elevation of the level. Marked improvement of subjective symptom of the patient, especially strengthening of sexual desire and presant feeling was evident, which appeared sooner and lasted longer than any other drug.
