アイロゾン内服による尿路感染症の治療並びに其の血中濃度に就て

Abstract

Clinical trial of Ilosone on various urinary tract in f e ctions and measurement of its blood level were undertaken and their results were as follows. 1) Blood level: a. Ilosone tablet 200 mg, single dose of oral administration b. Ilosone tablet 200 mg, oral administration e very 6 hours Oral administrations of Ilosone with the above men tioned schedule have been attempted on 3 normal healthy subjects without renal dysfunction. The peak blood level of Ilosone has been reach e d two hours after single dose of oral administration and maintained its effective blood level for 6 to 8 hours. The same fashion of blood level as in the case of single dose administration was observed in every 6 hours continuous administration. 2) Clinical trial : Oral administratio n of Ilosone were attempted on 18 patients with either staphylococci, streptococci, or gonococci infection and 2 patients with secondary infection after surgical procedure. In 12 patients it was remarkably effective, in 7 patients effective, and a patient not effective. As its side effect slight diarrhea was noted in one case.
