上部尿路におけるSplint Catheterの使い方について

Abstract

This small paper is to introduce McIver's Nephrostom y Tube which is commonly used in the United States in case of pyeloplasty for U-P obstruction as well as in any case that requires intubation of the ureter with nephrostomy. McIver Tube is very conveniently devised so that urinary outflow is secured as keeping the local anatomy undistorted. Another problem was discussed on how to use T-Tube correctly for intubated ureterostomy. T-Tube should be inserted through a small incision made on the healthy part and not through the pathological lesion of the ureter. A wedge-shaped notch made at the junction point of T will give the less traumatic influence at the time of removal of T-Tube. Those cares are thought to be helpful if we wish to expect a good healing of the ureteral lesion by means of intubated ureterostomy.
