原発性アルドステロン症の1治験例

Abstract

A case of primary aldosteronism was presented. T he patient, a 39-year-old housewife, was admitted to our clinic with chief complaints of slight headache, wearness of extremities and thirst. She had a severe hypertension, hypokalemia, hypernatremia, alkalosis and increasing of urinary aldosterone excretion. Left total adrenalectomy was performed and a very small adenoma was proved histopathologically. But her clinical symptoms and signs were not corrected by this operation. Sixty-one days after the first operation, she had right partial adrenalectomy. A tumor was found and the histopathological diagnosis was adenoma of the right adrenal cortex. The postoperative course was uneventful. Several aspects of this disease were discussed.
