恥骨上前立腺摘除術の再評価

Abstract

In Japan, retropubic prostatectomy is more prevalent tha n suprapubic, however, it can be emphasized that suprapubic prostatectomy has also several advantages such as minimal blood loss, easy access to the bladder complications, less osteitis pubis and easy operative technique. It assures good postoperative result if adequately done by well-trained urologists in selected cases of benign prostatic hypertrophy. An improved method was described especially regarding the way of enucleation, hemostatis, and the care of catheters. (The author is obliged to Drs. W. A. VanNortwick and R. J.
