後腹膜腔平滑筋肉腫の1例

Abstract

A case of 46-year-old woman with retroperitoneal l e iomyosarcoma was experienced. Her chief complaints were intermittent severe pain in the upper quadrant, anorexia and weightloss. A study of the urinary tract by intravenous urography demonstrated displacement of the right kidney and ureter. Aortography and pneumoretroperitoneum were also performed. A diagnosis of retroperitoneal neoplasm was made clinically and exploration was performed. The renal pedicle was identified entering the mass, but the kidney was not invaded by the tumor and the right adrenal gland was visualized and found to be intact. Tumor mass, weighing 360 gm., was removed. The postoperative course was uneventful, but three months after surgery she was readmitted with the returned severe pain and radio-active Cesium therapy was instituted with good response.
