腎静脈血栓症の1例

Abstract

A case of renal vein thrombosis with a throm b us extending from the bilateral femoral veins to the inferior vena cava is presented, in which the diagnosis was made preoperatively. The patient was a 32-year-old man complaining of severe flank pain an d gross hematuria, whose abdominal veins were markedly dilated with reversal in blood flow over the inferior abdominal portions. The thrombosis which involved the femoral veins, the iliac veins, the inferior vena cava, and the right renal vein was diagnosed by retrograde pyelography as well as by various venographies. Retrograde pyelogram revealed compression of the entire pelvic system by parenchymatous swelling, as described by Arnholdt & Mira-Llinares in 1957. Right nephrectomy was performed with satisfactory result. The literature on renal vein thrombosis was reviewed .
