| 抄録: | A 46-year-old male, who had the chief complaints of lon g -standing remittent fever of undetermined origin and anemia, was found to have carcinoma of the left kidney with metastasis to the second lumbar vertebra. Nephrectomy soon brought his fever down dramatically. Here discussed is the relationship between renal malignancy and hyperpyrexia based on the cases we experienced during past ten years. It might be said that hypernephroma has been most frequently the source of high fever among all the histological groups of renal malignancies. This fact was especially true when an invasive growth was extensive. |
