| 抄録: | Chromomycin A3, Toyomycin is a new antibiotic for tum o r produced from Streptomyces griseus No. 7. It was found in the soil of Toyonaka city, Osaka, Japan and presented by Research Laboratory of Takeda Pharmaceutical Industries, Co. Ltd.. This antitumorous agent was administered intravenously in 6 cases with inoperable malignancies. In a case with adenocarcinoma of the prostate clinical i m provement was seen, associated with histological regression of carcinoma. Cystourethrography also showed decrease in size of tumor. In remaining 5 cases, however, efficacy was not so remarkable. They were 1 case of neuroblastoma, 2 transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder and 2 renal carcinoma. It is suggested that certain type of neoplasia shows response to this agent. No severe side effect. |
