dc.description.abstractLocalized edema and hematoma after urological openations are quite troublesome complications. TANDERIL was effectively used in the treatment of these complications and inflammatory conditions of the genitourinary tract. It was applied to 26 cases, mainly operative cases on penis and scrotum, and the following results were obtained. Remarkably effective 13 Fairly effective 1 2 Not effective : 1 ( d i s continued due to side effect) Therefore, TANDERIL was proved to have remarkable supressing action on inflammation, edema, hematoma but on postoperative pain. Secondary infection can be prevented, because no edema ensues. It seem s to be better administered also preoperatively, and combination with one of antibiotics should be highly evaluated,en
