尿道下裂の手術経験

Abstract

Denis Browne's technic had been our choice of operatio n for hypospadias. Nine hypospadias of various grade were accordingly treated, but postoperative urethral fistula developed in 8 cases. Necessity was, therefore, realized to devise a new technic with less frequent postoperative complication such as urethral fistula, after many world literatures were studied. Three hypospadias were treated with our own original technic. A skin flap tu b e was constructed of the prepuce as being continuous with the previous urethra. This newly formed tube was embedded in the ventral aspect of the body of penis at the site as proximal as possible. Usual ventral curvature of the penis could be easily corrected by means of dissection of the foreskin and the proximal part of urethre. Remaining foreskin was sufficient to envelope the exposed surface of the penile body. Our technic is that of one-stag e operation. Results were satisfactory in all cases. Discussion was made regarding validity of one-stage operation.
