Abstract

1. Two cases of inflammatory mass in the spermatic cor d were experienced. 2. One of them was patho-histologically tuberculosis of the sperm a tic cord. Pathogenesis of this condition might be explained by tuberculous allergy from the microscopic findings of the specimen Hematogenous infection, however, should be kept in mind as a general cause of tuberculous lesion in the spermatic cord. 3. Another case was suspected t o be filarial funiculitis from the histological findings such as granulomatous tissue, eosinophils, hemangiectasia, obliterative lymphangitis with prominent interspace, and multinucleated giant cells.
