dc.description.abstract | It has been believed that the "vesical dilatation by m eans of regeneration" can be achieveds imply and surely if proteolytic enzymes, s uch as a-chymotrypsin, a re articipated to wound of urinary tract to obtain an early recovery from the regeneration processes. For the first step to find out the effect of enzymes upon the recov e ry mechanisms of wounds in the ureter and the urinary bladder, incised wounds were made to rabbits which decided into two groups for comparative studies, one for enzyme treated group and the another for untreated group. The results obtained showed a slight degree of hydroureter in a week and complete recovery in 2 weeks in the treated group. Furthermore the bladder wall of the treated group demonstrated no distinction to the normal one and complete histological regeneration with a minimally noticiable scar tissue in the mucosa at the time of recovery. | en |
