泌尿器科領域における生体接着剤の応用 第1報: 尿道瘻閉鎖術への応用

Abstract

Five experimental studies were carried out to observe the effect of th e adhesive substance "Aron Alpha" (Made in Japan). Using Aron Alpha to close t h e urethral fistula, satisfactory anatomical and functional recoveries of the urethra was accomplished in one case. Skin closure with Aron Alpha S in four cases was disappointing and it is suggested that adequate chemotherapy be administered to prevent secondary infection. Although the results obtained from our experiment use of Ar o n Alpha are not necessarily applicable for closure of skin wounds, it is our hope that this report may throw some light on future treatment with adhesive materials in urological field.
