遺伝性を有する幼児型嚢胞腎について

Abstract

A case of infant type of polycystic kidney with hereditab i l ity was reported. Case : T. H. 50 days-infant was admitted with a chief complaint of intumescentia abdominis. The patient was born on Dec. 4, 1964 following a full term pregnancy with a birth weight of 3, 000 grams. The delivery was uncomplicated, and the mother's prenatal coures was unremarkable except for a edema occurring at 7 to 8 week's gestation, but mother was found to have polycystic kidney. Surgical exploration of bilateral kidney and autopsy was performed. A typical polycystic kidney was observed. Polycystic kidney has been reviewed many times and several reports with excellent bibliographies are available. As far as we can discover, no case has been reported of infant type in polycystic kidney with hereditability. Discussions were made and literatures were reviewed.
