抄録: | A case of calcified renal aneurysm with hypertension was reported and renal aneurysm was discussed according to literatures. A 25-yers-old man was a dmitted to our hospital with epistaxis. Physical examination revealed no significant changes except for hypertension (180/110 mmHg). Flat film of the abdomen revealed several ring-like calcifications between the right transverse processes of the first and second lumbal vertebrae. An excretory urogram and perirenal air insufflation revealed a small non-functioning right kidney and a hypertrophied shadow of the left kidney. An aortogram failed to reveal the right renal artery as well as significant changes of the left renal artery. The patient was subjected to laparotomy. The small and atrophic right kidney and several calcified tumors at its hilum were explored and excised together without remission of hypertension. Calcification with partial ossification was proved both macroscopically and histologically to have occulted the renal artery vessel. |
