泌尿器科領域におけるAnanaseの使用経験

Abstract

"Ananase" (bromelain) was orally administered at dosis of 80 to 160 mg . a day for 7 to 10 days to 33 cases undergoing endotracheal anaesthesia, 11 cases with various operations on scrotal contents and 14 cases with circumcision. "Ananase" was found efficacious. in 87.9%, 54.5% and 78.6 % of them respectively. It had on an average elapsed 1.9 days in the patients receiving "Ananase" before laryngeal symptoms due to endotracheal intubation disappeared completely, whereas it had passed 4.0 days in 14 controls. In the circumcision gro u p, the mean duration of coming to our clinic for postoperative procedures was 8.9 days, while it run up to 11.2 days in 12 controls. Administration of a total of 2, 000 to 4, 480 mg. of "Ana n ase" resulted a remarkable effect on 7 cases of secondary urinary tract infection who had failed to respond to prolonged therapy with antibiotics and/or sulfa drugs. One patient with traumatic priapism was given "Ananase" only with good success. No side effects were encountered.
