泌尿器科領域における腎機能と血圧 2: 50才未満高血圧症患者の泌尿器科的観察

Abstract

By urological examinations performed in 94 patients with hypertension of the age under 50 years old, in which the cause of hypertension was obscure with medical examinations, 42 patients were suspected to have renal hypertension, in with urological diseases were found in 35 cases. With the advance of age, the urological disease seemed to be apparent and its prevalence was increased. The accompaniing urological diseases were cystic kidney, renal hypoplasia, unilateral hydronephrosis, unilateral chronic pyelonephritis, renal cyst, unilateral renal circulatory disturbance and wandering kidney, all of which were either renal anomalies or latent renal diseases. The results of renal function studies in such hypertensive patients showed a respective disturbance with a normal total renal function or a deterioration within normal range cemparing the healthy side. These results give us to emphasize an importance of respective renal function studies and suggest us necessity of accurate evaluation of renal functions for management of hypertensive urological patients of the middle age groups. It is also suspected that complication of urinary tract infections make the renal function deteriorated followed by aggravation of hypertensive status.
