抄録: Experimental studies on dissemination of tumor c e lls, side effects, and local treatments of the direct intracanal lymphography using radioactive 1311 labelled Popiodol were done in both of human and dog, and resulted as follows : 1) In the case of dog's experiments, maximum t ransfering rates of radioactive isotope into blood and urine was observed between 8 and 24 hours after the injection, and the peak of the rate in blood was seen somewhat earlier than the in urine. 2) The contrast media in the body was rapidly excreted i n to the urine after the 24 th hour of the post-injection with a completion of the excretion being within one week after the injection. 3) Th e movement of injected contrast media in human body showed the same behavior as in dogs. 4) In cas e s of dog's experiment, the injected radioactive 1311h ighly concentrated in the retroperitoneal lymph nodes, especially in the external iliac region, with subsequent marked tissue destruction in microscopically. On the other hand, most of such main organs as lung, liver, spleen and kidney, showed far much less retention of radioactive isotope and destructive tissue findings. 5) In cases without any obstructions of the upper lymph system majority of contrast media which was injected into the lymph vessel moved into the blood through the thoratic duct.
