陰茎癌の9例

Abstract

Clinical discussions were made on 9 cases of cancer of the penis seen in the department of urology at the Hiroshima University Hospital for the past 10 years since 1956. 1) The prevalence of cancer of the penis (9 cases) among 5884 male out-p a tients visited the hospital for 10 years was 0.15 %. 2) Out of 9 cases, blue and white colo r ed occupations were 5 and 3 cases respectively. The occupational history of the rest of 1 case was unknown. As the age of patients, youngest and oldest cases were 38 and 73 years old respectively, with the average being 53.8 years old. 3) Phim osis was found in 8 of 9 cases. 4) Macroscopically, proliferative, infiltrative and ulcerative types were 7, 1 and 1 cases respectively, while microscopically all of them were squamous cell cancer. 5) Palpable lymphadenopathy was demonstrated in the inguinal re g ions in 8 cases at the initial examination, but metastatic figure was confirmed histologically in only 3 cases. 6) As treatment, the total peotomy with lymphadenotomy was performed in 3 cases and the partial peotomy with lymphadenotomy was done in 6 cases. Out of 7 cases where prognosis is known, 2 cases survived more than 5 years.
