dc.description.abstract	The results of the treatment with Wintomylon, generic name nalidixic acid, in 8 cases of simple urinary infections and 7 cases of chronic and complicated patients were reported. In the former, all patients showed excellent subjective and objective improvem e nts at the end of therapy. In the latter, however, the majority of patients showed no objective improvement. In 4 of the patients, the initial offending organism was eradicated, but new organism emerged. Side ef f ects were minimal.	en
