実験的糖尿病の研究 特に雄性性腺の治療効果について

Abstract

Diabetic complications observed in the field of urology was studied with a special reference to the alterations in the male sexual glands. Based on the fundamental experiments performed by Hasegawa, effects of various treatments were evaluated. The results Summarized as follows. 1. Marked change w as demonstrated in the male sexual glands of the experimentally induced diabetes. A rapid recovery was observed, however, if proper treatment was given in the early stage after the onset. 2. The pituitary-adrenocorti c al system showed decreased functions regardless treatments. 3. Although many complicated factors must be considered in human diabetes, it was posturated that influences on the sexual glands are more pronounced in the cases where hypofunction is present in the pituitary-adrenocortical system.
