排尿困難に対するUbretidの治験

Abstract

Treatment with anticholinesterase, "Ubretid", was a t tempted in 22 patients with dysuria consisting of 8 cases of urinary retention after lumbar anesthesia, 5 cases of low grade prostatic hypertrophy and 9 cases of miscellaneous dysuria of chiefly functional nature. The agent was found to be effective in all cases, The clinical response was excellent in 13 cases (59%) and good in 9 cases (41%). In 17 cases in which the dysuria was considered to be chiefly of functional nature, excepting the case of prostatic hypertrophy where mechanical influences on micturition was considered, "Ubretid" showed excellent effect in 70% of the cases, The effectiveness of "Ubretid" lies chiefly on the fact that it increases the contraction power of detrusor vesicae muscles. Side effects were observed in 18.2% of the cases who demonstrated nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, epigastric distress, general malaise and blushing. It was concluded that "Ubretid" is a agent of choice for the functional dysuria .
