上部尿路結石症に対するCamalon(Cyclopentaphen)の治験

Abstract

This investigation was carried out in order to evaluate the effectiveness of "Camalon (N, N'-Diphenyldicarbamate-1, 1-dimethylol cyclopentane) in 22 cases of upper urinary lithias is. The results are summarized as follows : 1. In 12 out of 21 cases of ureteral calculus, spontaneous excretion of calculi has been resulted. The maximal size of the excreted stone was 10 x 6 mm in diameter. 2. Five cases of renal calculus has not excreted spontaneously. 3. No apreciable side effects were noticed. 4. Administration of "Camalon" w a s indicated in case when the short diameter was less than 3 mm and when the calculi was only in the ureteral area. 5. If the above conditions as well as the degree of hyd r onephrosis are taken into consideration, the duration of "Camalon" treatment seems to be prolonged further.
