陰茎癌の2例と,わが教室における過去11年間の陰茎癌の統計的観察

Abstract

Along with a case report of recent two patients with cancer of the penis, statistical observation was made on the patients with cancer of the penis who were seen at the Department of Urology at Kurume University Hospital for the past 11 years. A brief discussion was also made based on literatures. 1. The tota l number of the patients was 18 cases and all of them were histologically squamous cell carcinoma. 2. In 12 (6 6 .6 %) out of 18 cases, phimosis was present. 3. Excluding 4 unknown cases, the occupation o f the patients was agricultural or bluecolored workers in 7 cases (38.8 %). 4. Age distribution of the ca s es showed most frequent occurrence in the seventh decade. The youngest and oldest patients were 39 and 94 years old, respectively. 5. The localization of the cancer was most frequent o n the glans (58.82 %) followed by in the order of the prepuce, body of the penis and coronary sulcus. 6. Phallectomy was performed in 14 cases with post-oper a tive radiation therapy.
