抄録: | More than a hundred cases of renal angioma have b een reported in Europe and America since 1867 when Virchow reported the first case based on his autopsy study. In our country, sa far 18 cases have been listed in the literatures following the first report of autopsy case made by Fukuda in 1911 (Table 1). The rare incidence of t h is disease usually make an accurate pre-operative diagnosis to be difficult. This report deals with a case of gross hematuria, of which origin was presumed to be a minor lesion such as renal angioma pre-operatively. A 26 years old male visited our out-patient clinic with a chief complaint of urinary retention due to blood clot. Excretory pyelography disclosed a moth-eaten figure of the left lower calyx. The extirpated kidney showed a corkscrewlike arterial proliferation, which is called as plexiform angioma, in the pelvis and submucous layer of the left lower calyx. Brief discussions were made on the renal angioma based on the review of the literatures. |
