尿管の精嚢腺異所開口の1例

Abstract

1) This report deals with a case of 37 years old male who had ectopic opening of the left ureter into the seminal vesicle. The case was believed to be the sixth reported one in Japan. He complained of dull pain in the right hypochondria' region, fever and proteinuria. Exploratory operation was performed under a suspicions diagnosis of left renal agenesis or hypoplasia. The operative finding and the results of fistular ureterography and vesiculography led as to make the precise diagnosis of ectopic ureteral opening. The regional kidney showed marked aplasia. 2) R eview of literatures was made on the cases of ectopic ureteral opening into the seminal vesicle, 6 cases in Japan and 30 cases in Europe and America, of which diagnosis was made clinically. Major symptoms, diagnostic methods, therapeutic means and status of the regional kidney were summarized and briefly discussed. 3) So far, a total of 11 cases of ectopic u reteral opening was seen at the Department of Urology of Kyoto University Hospital. The male and female ratio is 3 to 8 with female predominance, and is resemble to that in Europe and America. The male to female ratio for all cases in Japan is 1 to 28 with female predominance.
