dc.description.abstract抗菌カテーテル(プロテイン銀配合導尿カテーテル)を泌尿器科カテーテル留置患者に使用し, 尿路感染予防効果および安全性を検討した。1)閉鎖式バッグとの併用にて抗菌カテーテルは尿路感染特に管外性感染の予防効果を発揮する可能性が示唆された。2)尿道分泌物, カテーテル痛, アレルギー反応などの副作用は従来の天然ゴムカテーテルと差がみられなかったja
dc.description.abstractWe evaluated the clinical efficacy and safety of a Foley catheter coated with silver-protein (ProAg catheter) in the prevention of catheter-associated bacteriuria. ProAg catheter significantly reduced the incidence of extraluminal catheter-associated bacteriuria compared with usual latex Foley catheter although it did not inhibit intraluminal bacteriuria. There was no difference between ProAg catheter and latex catheter in the side effects such as urethral discharge, catheter-associated pain and allergic reaction. The ProAg catheter may be useful as an indwelling urethral catheter.en
