|Abstract:||We have experienced 6 cases of fracture of the penis between 1974 and 1984 at our department. The patients were between 19 and 36 years old. The penis was swollen and distorted by a subcutaneous hematoma but no complications, such as urethral bleeding, pain of miction and urinary retention, were seen in any case. Operation was performed on all patients and no sequelae were seen after treatment. We reviewed 282 cases of fracture of the penis reported in the Japanese literature between 1934 and 1984. A brief review on cause, age, symptoms, complications and sequelae were discussed.|
