精上皮腫における胎盤性アルカリフォスファターゼの免疫組織化学的染色

Abstract

正常睾丸組織および精上皮腫と非精上皮腫を含む睾丸腫瘍組織のPLAP染色を行った.1)正常睾丸組織および胎児性癌組織ではPLAPは染色されなかった.2)精上皮腫ではPLAPの染色を認め, 主に細胞膜に, 一部細胞質に局在がみられた.3)精上皮腫において腫瘍細胞の浸潤のない正常精細管内胚細胞と思われる細胞にも染色を認め, carcinoma in situの存在が推測された

Indirect immunoperoxidase staining was carried out on seminomatous tumors of testes (22 specimens) using anti-placental alkaline phosphatase antibody to search for the usefulness of placental alkaline phosphatase as a tumor marker. All of the seminomas showed positive staining mainly on the cell surface. However, the normal testes and non-seminomas showed negative staining. Of interest, normal tissues outside the tumor mass showed positive staining. This phenomenon is considered to be suggestive of carcinoma in situ. Immunohistochemical study of placental alkaline phosphatase on the seminomas is a useful method for histopathological diagnosis and may be useful for understanding the pathogenesis of the tumor.
