Piribenzil methylsulfate(CG-201)の尿管運動に対する作用

Abstract

Effects of Piribenzil methylsulfate (CG-201) on the human ureteral activities were studied in 16 cases (26 ureters) by means of strain-gauge manometer. CG-20l was administered intramuscularly to three groups divided by dosage of 2.5 mg, 3.75 mg and 5 mg respectively. The effect was less in the 2.5 mg group than in the 3.75 mg, but no difference was seen between the 2.5 mg and 5 mg group. As illustrated in Fig. 1~6, several minutes after injection of the drug basic pressure of the ureter decreased in one third of the examined ureters and decrease of the ureteral activities was evident in the majority of them. In the ureters in which effect of the drug was striking, even a complete cessation of peristaltic activities resulted 3 to 4 minutes after the injection in average and lasted for 2 to 3, or even 6 minutes. From these results therapeutic effect can be expected if the drug is administered in such a manner as it maintains a certain level in the body for a certain duration.
