陰茎折症 その1例と本邦報告例の文献的考察

Abstract

A 22-year-old married man developed painful swelling and abnormal kink of the penis after his early morning masturbation which he used to do as a habit for five years in a quite peculiar way as manipulating the phallus and making an unusual sound. The penis looked dark violet in color and an operation was immediately performed. There was gross rupture neither of corpus cavernosum nor its tunica albuginea. Forty-one cases of fracture of the penis were collected from the domestic literature. Discussions were made with emphasis on importance to describe not only if there was rupture of corpus cavernosum and/or its tunica albuginea but if the injury occurred during erction, whenever fracture of the penis might be reported. The youngest case of fracture of the penis in Japan is 19-year-old boy, although errorneously reported as 13.
