| 抄録: | Bourneville-Pringle phacomatosis was seen in a 4-year-old boy with enlarged kidney on both sides. Laparotomy revealed polycystic kidneys. Two and a half years after operation, the patient showed the renal function unchanged, but he is unable to go to school because of increasing frequency of epileptic seizures and poor development of intelligence. From the social point of view, prognosis in this case is quite hopeless. Discussions were made on the renal abnormalities frequently associated with this disease based on about thirty cases reported in Japan. |
