新尿路造影剤Conray 400について 泌尿器科領域における使用経験

Abstract

We applied a new urinary contrast medium, Conray 400, principal ingredient of which is sodium iothalamate, to excretory pyelography, and examined the pyeloureterogram at seven and fifteen minutes after the infusion. The medium had low viscosity and was easy to infuse into vessels. There was no side effect in all the patients with the test-infusion (1 ml) before x-ray exposures. Of 54 patients examined in the study, two had eruption and one had nausea during the examinations. Side effects were observed in only 5.6 %. Vomiting was not observed. No patient complained of vascular pain. The visualizing effect of the medium on pyelography was never inferior to usual contrast media.
