膀胱に発生したGranular Cell Myoblastomaの1例

Abstract

A 49-year-old married woman was admitted to the Department of Urology, Osaka University Hospital, with a chief complaint of asymptomatic gross hematuria on May 14, 1968. Cystoscopic examination revealed a tumor with a vascular stalk, which was located at right lateral wall of the urinary bladder. The surface of the tumor was smooth and was encapsulated by a thin fibrous capsule with venous vascular dilatation. On June 3, 1968, partial cystectomy was performed, and the tumor was histologically confirmed as granular cell myoblastoma. Granular cell myoblast om a of the urinary bladder is quite a rare condition. Only seven cases have been encountered in the world literature, since Cappell and Montgomery described the first case in 1937. This reported case is the first one in Japan and the eighth in the world reports. The literature was reviewed and discussed.
