Priapismに対するVenous Bypass形成術の2例

Abstract

Two men, age of 41 and 30, with priapism were successfully treated by corpus-saphenous venous shunt. Operation was performed 100 hours after the onset of priapism in the first case and 8 days in the second. Ten to fourteen days later, their penis looked almost normal, and there was no recurrence of priapism. In the first case, the patient became able to perform sexual intercourse once a week approximately eight months after operation; and the second case has been impotent for four months after operation. No operative complications were encountered. From our experiences, immediate venous bypass construction after the onset of priapism is recommended in order to have sexual potence recovered.
