泌尿器科領域における経口androgen剤mesteroloneの使用経験

Abstract

1) Thirteen hypogonadisms androgen were treated with mesterolone, an oral preparation of androgen. This androgen replacement seemed to be satisfactory. 2) Eleven men with impaired spermatogenesis were also put on mester6lone, but the result was not satisfactory as to rebound phenomenon. 3) Androgenic action of mesterolone on the accessory sex glands could be expected from the facts that the seminal plasma fructose and cholesterol increased in some cases after its administration. 4) Liver function was not impaired in any case even by long term treatment.
