Abstract: A one-month-old boy was seen with enlargement of the scrotum on right which had been present since birth. There was obviously a fluid collection in the scrotum. About 20 ml of white, opaque fluid was aspirated. Numerous lymphoid cells were found but no Filaria. Thinlayer chromatography of the fluid for lipid analysis and gas chromatography for fat acids analysis showed that the fluid should be compatible with chyle. Pathogenesis of this unusual condition in infant could not be elucidated, but some type of abnormal communication between chylous pathway and cavum testis might be suggested. The patient achieved spontaneous cure after aspiration of several occasions by his age of 4-month.
