泌尿器疾患における血清フコースの動態 - 悪性疾患を中心として -

Abstract

1)各種尿性器疾患患者の血清フコースを測定した.i)担癌患者のStageの進行したもの, ii)腎盂腎炎, 前立腺炎などの炎症の著明なもの, iii)術後の患者, などでは正常より高値を示した.2)癌性悪液質に陥っているものはいちじるしい高値を示したが, 前立腺癌では病期の進展は高度でも正常値のものがみとめられた.3)血清フコース値と血沈値は相関した

Serum fucose is known to increase in malignant diseases. We measured the serum fucose of the patients with urogenital diseases, and found that the level of serum fucose was elevated beyond the normal limit in patients having progressed stage of tumors, pyelonephritis, marked inflammation s11ch as prostatitis and in patients within 1 month postoperation. Patients having cancerous cachexia had distinctly elevated serum fucose while patients having prostatic cancer sometimes had normal serum fucose even in the progressive stage of cancer. In general, the elevation of serum fucose correlated with that of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
