前立腺原発移行上皮癌の2例

Abstract

Two cases of transitional cell carcinoma of the prostate were reported. The first case was a 63-year-old male, whose chief complaints were dysuria and frequent urination. Total prostatectomy was performed. The histological diagnosis was pure transitional cell carcinoma of the prostate. This patient is living well for six years since operation without hormonal therapy. The second case is a 55-year-old male, whose chief complaints were also dysuria and frequent urination. Transurethral prostatectomy was performed. The histological diagnosis was mixed type of transitional cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. The literatures were reviewed and the possibility of main prostatic duct origin of these tumors was briefly discussed.
