選択的腎動脈レ線撮影法におけるEpinephrineの応用

Abstract

1. The effects of epinephrine in selective renal angiography were investigated in nine patients. 2. Infusion of epinephrine into renal artery was considered to be useful in the diagnosis of renal cancer, and even in some cases of renal pelvic cancer. 3. Renal cyst diagnosed as renal cancer in retrograde pyelography could be differentiated from malignant tumor by this method. 4. In a case of aneurysm of renal artery, the site of the lesion could be identified and acquired aneurysm showed itself a tendency of contraction by epinephrine in two cases. 5. The effect of epinephrine on the main renal artery with fibromuscular hyperplasia was not identical to the normal renal artery. 6. This method was very useful in differential diagnosis of renal diseases and had no serious side action.
