原発性尿管腫瘍に対する保存的手術法

Abstract

Two cases of primary ureteral tumor treated with conservative surgery were reported. In the first case of a 60-year-old man with a solitary papillary tumor, histologically transitional cell carcinoma (grade II), at the lower-most portion of the left ureter, segmental resection of the ureter with tumor and ureterovesiconeostomy were performed. In the second case of 60- year-old man with a tumor, histologically papilloma or papillary transitional cell carcinoma (grade I), in the upper-most portion of the right ureter, segmental resection of the ureter with tumor and reanastomosis of the ureter were performed. In both cases postoperative follow-up examination yerified no recurrence of the tumor and improvement of kidney function on operated side. Discussion was made about conservative surgery for ureteral tumor, and it was concluded that in some cases of ureteral tumor the conservative operations such as local excision of tumor or segmental resection of the ureter with tumor were valuable procedure.
